Anna-Louise Felstead, a London-born artist, leads two contrasting lives that intertwine seamlessly through her passion for art and her role as a devoted single mother to her autistic son Freddie.
Having honed her artistic skills through formal education at Central St Martins and the Royal College of Art, Anna-Louise found her niche in capturing the essence of vintage cars and historic racing scenes. Her artistry, characterised by dynamic lines and vibrant colours, evokes a sense of nostalgia and excitement among viewers.
Anna-Louise’s journey as an artist began with themed exhibitions at London’s glamorous restaurants and behind-the-scenes glimpses of events like London Fashion Week. Her unique style, rooted in reportage and a fascination for mechanical intricacies, garnered attention and recognition, leading to collaborations with renowned organisations such as the Royal Navy.
Despite the demands of her thriving art career, Anna-Louise remains grounded in her role as a mother. In addition to her ongoing projects, Anna-Louise is currently involved in several exciting ventures. She recently secured a commission from Saudi Motorsport to design the poster for the 2024 Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah, with a three-year contract extending to the 2025 and 2026 editions. Moreover, she has been commissioned by the Royal Automobile Club to design both the programme cover and poster for the 2024 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. Anna-Louise also holds the prestigious title of official artist in residence at the new Automobilia Collectors Expo during Pebble Beach Car Week in Monterey, where she will design the poster for the 2024 event. Additionally, she is embarking on a unique collaboration with the streetwear fashion label 5mc2™ to develop new products featuring her distinctive illustrations.
