The municipality of Portimao commissioned local artists, Tars8two and APC from LAC-Laboratory of Creative Activities. The result of 2 weeks hard work by Tarso and his colleagues for the International Day of Cultural Diversity.

Collaborative mural with Tars8two & APC
Within the scope of the partnership between LAC and the Municipality of Portimão in the “Week of Interculturality” program, the Artists Tars8two and APC will create a large collaborative mural on the wall next to Bairro Cruz da Parteira – Portimão.
Tars8two is a Brazilian artist based in Portugal, with 38 years and 24 years of experience in the art of graffiti.
Since he was a child he had a passion for drawing and at the age of thirteen due to the hip-hop culture, he started making pixação (graffiti letters Brazilian style) that was love at first sight.
In 1996 with two more friends they created “Os Mais Arteiros Crew”. In 2005 he moved to the United States – New York, having performed a series of works on the city streets.
After that he returned to Brazil to study at college, and it was from 2012 that he dedicated himself more to his art, which gave him the opportunity to participate in events (festivals, exhibitions, etc.) in more than fifteen countries, where since then with his experience, he specialized in hyper-realism.
A. Pedro Correia (APC) was born in Angola in 1961 and lives in Lagos and has an artistic residency at LAC – Laboratório de Actividades Criativas. He is a plastic artist developing work mainly in the areas of sculpture, painting and installation. He participated in artistic residencies in several countries and has public works in Lagos, Maputo (Mozambique) and Cidade da Praia (Cape Verde).
